It was here that he opened a business that would provide high quality silversmithing and plating. As business grew so did the direction of the company.
In later years, a partnership was formed that completed the company's shift from silversmithing to industrial and commercial decorative plating.
Expansion continued in the 1980’s with the addition of a high-volume overhead hoist line, while continuing to expand an already growing decorative commercial hand line. This allowed Quaker City Plating (QCP) to produce high quality chrome parts more competitively in large quantities.
In the 1990's, we successfully entered the aviation interiors completion market. QCP established itself as a leader in aviation interior decorative metal finishing by focusing on quality, quick turnaround times, customer service, and technological advances at a competitive price.
As the end of the century drew to a close, QCP continued to expand, updating equipment and technology to meet market demands for decorative metal finishing. In 2000, QCP's plating-on-plastics line became operational. Plating-on-plastics provided new opportunities to
our diverse customer base by offering more than eighty high quality finishes to the world of plastics.
As we near our fiftieth year in business, QCP has over 400 man-years of plating experience. By offering high quality, exceptional customer service, and the latest technological advances, Quaker City Plating will continue to meet your goals into the future.
